Crisis Nursery Services:
providing safe, no-cost, short-term crisis childcare for children
0-12 in Crow Wing County and the surrounding areas.
In 2011, we assisted in arranging and providing
165 households (541 people) with short-term childcare
during a family crisis.
Family Support Services: a
strength-based approach to help families thrive by
setting goals with parents and offering support and
resources. This program served
129 households (471 people) in 2011.
Mentoring Services:
a new program, launched in fall 2012. The mission of
this program, called
Side by Side, is to move participants
from survival to sustainability by increasing informal
assets through mentoring relationships.
Respite Services: providing
short-term, ongoing, regularly-scheduled breaks for
parents and caregivers of children with mental health
and/or behavioral
challenges. This service is new in 2012.
Resource Connection
Services: acting as a single point of entry in the community for
individuals and families with a short-term challenge or
need; providing access to the resources they need to
regain stability. In 2011 we assisted 2,072
households (5,387 people) through this program.
