REDUCE! Reducing our consumption of new clothing can be a very kind act for the Earth. Did you know that it takes nearly 3,000 liters of water to make just ONE cotton T-shirt? And this is just one of the many resources that is depleted from clothing production. Shopping second hand is a sustainable alternative to buying brand new clothes. REUSE! Do you have household goods that don’t serve a purpose for you anymore? Before throwing it out to be put in a landfill, consider donating to Common Goods! We are happy to take your items as they may be useful for someone else.

RECYCLE! All three Common Goods stores are happy to recycle your stained, faded, or worn clothing and linens. Just place them in a kitchen sized bag and label them “recycle.” This will help to keep the BLA clean!
